Rudolph’s Nose Tart Recipe

The festive season means beautiful fresh fruit. Why not make the most of it with the beautiful red strawberry tart!

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • ½ cup cream cheese icing
  • 750g fresh strawberries, hulled
  • ¼ chocolate bar
  • Icing sugar, for dusting
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Method

1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced). Line a baking tray with baking paper. Cut the pastry into a large circle and prick all over with a fork.

2. Lay another sheet of baking paper on top of the pastry, then cover with another baking tray to weigh it down. Bake for 15 minutes. Once golden, set aside on a wire rack to cool completely.

3. Spread the cream cheese icing over the pastry and arrange the strawberries on top. Grate the chocolate over the strawberries. Dust with icing sugar and decorate with mint leaves. Serve and enjoy.
