Blueberry Breakfast Bars Recipe

Our easy, healthy museli bar recipe bursts with sweetness and is easy for on-the-go mornings!





  • 1½ cups plain flour
  • 1¼ cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup shredded coconut
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 140g Nuttelex spread
  • ½ cup granola
  • ½ cup blueberry jam
  • 125g fresh blueberries


1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a 16cm x 26cm slice pan and line the base and two longer sides with baking paper, allowing the sides to overhang.

2. Place half of the flour, oats, coconut, cinnamon, and Nuttelex spread in a blender. Blend until the mixture just comes together. Spoon the mixture into the prepared pan and use the back of the spoon to press evenly over the base. Bake for 10 minutes or until light golden.

3. While the base is cooking, combine the granola and the remaining flour, oats, coconut, and cinnamon in a bowl. Add the remaining Nuttelex spread and, using your fingers, rub the spread into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse breadcrumbs.

4. Spread the blueberry jam evenly over the base of the slice that has just come out of the oven. Top with the fresh blueberries. Sprinkle the granola mixture evenly over the blueberries. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Set aside in the pan to cool completely. Cut into pieces and serve.
